The Origin of Corn_________home

The Origin of Corn is a body of work that began in Nebraska City, Nebraska during 2014-2015 while I was Program Director of the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, an artist residency center. While there, I became familiar with Oscar Howe's artwork, in particular a painting which hangs in the town's City Council entitled Origin of Corn.

The following drawings, prints, and videos (coming soon) are dedicated to Oscar Howe and are reflections of my time in Nebraska City and on the Great Plains.
